It's been a while, let's catch up with the Brighton shirts I added to my collection in March 2022.
This is the 2021-2022 away shirt, worn by Tariq Lamptey in the FA Cup game against Tottenham in February 2022.
Let's not dwell on the result, it's a lovely shirt after all.
The shirt proved so popular with fans that the club decided to make it the 3rd kit for the 2022-2023 season.
Next came a bunch of matchworn goalies shirts, let's look at them chronologically.
This is the 2004-2005 goalies shirt, worn by Alan Blayney who played on loan from Southampton 15 or so times during the season.
Delving back to the Withdean years again, this is the 2006-2008 goalies shirt, this one was worn by the former Dutch Marine, Michel Kuipers.
And another of the Dutchmans match shirts, this is the 2008-2009 shirt, with the new sponsor, IT First, now part of Focus, based in Shoreham.
Now into the Amex years, this is Casper Ankergrens match shirt form the 2014-2015 season, note the chopped off sleeves as he preferred them short.
Here's something a little different;
This is the BHAFC away shirt, as used in the 2011-2013 season. As I understand it, this particular shirt was used by a local youth team, Seagulls FC, who added their own badge to the shirts and appropriated the kit as their own for a couple of seasons in and around the Brighton area.
