2022 Collecting - Brighton, March to November.

These are the Brighton shirts I collected between March and November, 2022, be warned, there are a lot of goalies shirts, and there is also an absolute stunner!

This is a 'Benchworn' shirt of number 2 goalie, Jason Steele. The shirt is badged for the 2021-2022 FA Cup ties against West Brom and Spurs.

Here's a shirt from the gloomy years, a matchworn goalies shirt from the 1997-1998 season, when our home games were played at Gillingham's Priestfield Stadium.

This shirt would have been worn by Mark Ormerod who made a total of 85 appearances for the Albion between 1994-2000.

Here's a replica 2021-2022 home goalies shirt, on the lookouts for a matchworn version.

The last goalies shirt collected in 2022, this is a matchworn shirt of Robert Sanchez.

Robert wore this shirt in the 5-2 demolition of Leicester City, 4 September 2022.

Now don't say I don't spoil you, how about this, 1983-1984 matchworn Adidas away shirt?

This stunner was used by Ian Muir during his short time with us.

As most of you will know, every year in the UK and the Commonwealth we honour members of the British Armed Forces who have died in the line of duty.

Each season British football clubs pay their respects by wearing shirts with the Poppy emblem for a couple of matches around the 11th of November. The shirts are sold with the money raised being donated to the RBL Poppy Appeal.

Here is Joel Veltmans shirt from the 3-2 away win at Wolves, , he came on as a late sub, so this shirt was matchworn for around 5 minutes!

And here is Adam Webster's matchworn Poppy shirt from the League Cup game against Arsenal at the Emirates.

Brighton came away 3-1 winners, Adam came on as a substitute midway through the second half replacing Lewis Dunk.

I think that's it for my Brighton collecting between March and November 2022, I'll be back with some more soon I am sure.
