Lockdown Collecting #10 - July Update

Having gone back to work full time I've not been able to keep up the blog, but here are the rest of the shirts I picked up in July 2020 during the COVID19 crisis.

Scottish League 2 side Cowdenbeath home shirt from the truncated 2019-2020 season, made by Errea.

FC Dallas from the MLS, this is the 2012-2013 away jersey, made by Adidas.

Matchworn Slindon FC shirt, a non league side from West Sussex, near to where I live in England. This is from around 1987 and is made by Pendle.

These are 2 shirts from an American non league side, Hayward United from Wisconsin. The yellow shirt is the 2019-2020 home shirt, the white one is the 2020-2021 away shirt.

This is a Brighton & Hove Albion goalies shirt from 2004-2005, it's unsponsored and has a number 1 on the back, I'm guessing this was probably a reserve team match shirt.

This is an Adidas Canada home shirt from 2004-2006.

This is another Brighton goalies shirt, a bit special this one as the sponsor is Palookaville, which was Fatboy Slims album which he launched in 2004 with the Albion, including renaming the stadium Palookaville. A highly prized shirt, I now have a nice collection of Palookaville shirts including home, 3 or 4 goalies and a prototype one of a kind that was never released.

Yet another Brighton & Hove Albion goalies shirt, this time from from 2014-2015, it has a number 1 on the back, no name, I think an U21 team match shirt.

Here's a bit of a special one, the rock band Royal Blood are from West Sussex, in England, and their local non league side is Rustington FC, they decided to lend their name to the team and sponsor the kit for the 2020-2021 season.

Here's an American non league shirt, Baton Rouge Capitals from Louisiana, this is a 2007 shirt, I don't know much about them, they folded in 2011.

And the last Brighton goalies shirt collected in July, this is the 2019-2020 away goalkeepers shirt, made by Nike.

And the final shirt collected in July 2020 is from the English non league side, Met Police. Historically this side was made up of serving police officers, but not so much in recent years. They play in the Isthmian League, and this shirt was made to commemorate the work of the key workers and NHS Staff who worked so hard during the COVID19 pandemic, and will be their home shirt in the 2020-2021 season.

Next will be all the shirts I collected during August 2020, for now I hope you enjoy these, and if you want to see more classic and vintage football shirts take a look at my website www.oldfootballshirts.com
